Mayu’s first day at Seishun Gaguen

 
The early walk to school was the most boring thing a human being can do. Unless if you’re excited about going to school.

Mayu Hiruno is a new student this year at the Seishun Gaguen middle school. The school was people-less, nobody was there at all.

Mayu: *Thinks loudly* Am I in the right place?

Momoshiro: Yes you are…

A voice from somewhere behind her, greeted her, giving her a mini heart attack.

Momoshiro: Hello there… you must be the new girl, Mayu Hirunomo! it’s a bit early, but I can show you around.

Mayu: Thank you… but it’s actually “Hiruno”

Momoshiro: Ah *nods* Hiruno Hirunomo… nice to meet you!

Mayu:  …… Mayu Hiruno…

Momoshiro: Yeah that .. what I say…

He said it smoothly alright. He felt free showing the new girl around school.

Momoshiro: Can I get your first name? Is the ‘Mayu’ or the ‘Hiruno’ ?

Mayu: *confused* …  I don’t really know… word on the street is… the last name is the first name in Japan…

Momoshiro: *laughs* Well, I’m Momoshiro Takeshi… you can call me Momo-chan, and I’m a 2nd year student around here.

Mayu: Nice to meet you. I’m supposed to be 2nd year student around here too! Oh that reminds me, where can I find my class?

Momoshiro: You should go see the principal… who shows up at 3pm, right before you go home.

Mayu:  … What am I supposed to do till then?

Momoshiro: Have fun  you’re lucky! Now let us proceed with our journey…

The school came to be crowded with students after a few hours.

Momoshiro: *Looks at his watch* It’s almost 7 O’clock! I have a meeting with my teammates.

Mayu: What teammates? You’re in a team or something? Or that’s what you call people you hate?

Momoshiro: No no… I’m in Seigaku tennis club.

Mayu: Oh a tennis club!  Can I come check it out? Since the principal is coming at 3…

Momoshiro: Sure… why not?

Momoshiro heads to the tennis court and Mayu tags along. She gets a good view at the front gate of the tennis court, of mostly boys playing and practicing tennis.

Mayu: That boy is not gonna get the ball…

Momoshiro:  W… What boy?!

Mayu: That unibrow kid… playing against that kid with the black hair… they seemed to be freshmen…

Momoshiro: How can you tell?

Mayu: Well… they’re short, and tiny…

Momoshiro: No no… I mean how did you know that he won’t get the ball?

Mayu: Look at the way he’s bending his knees… he’d probably fall down…

*Unibrow guy misses the ball and falls*

Mayu: HA  see that!

Momoshiro: Wow! Raven… is that you? How come you knew that?

Mayu: I’m a tennis player myself

Momoshiro: Really?! Wow! we could really take advantage of you!

Mayu: *GASP*  Momo-chan! You should be ashamed of your self! …*whispers*  just give me your number and we can sort things out…

Momoshiro:  Oh no… I mean, my team could really use your help…

Mayu:  Why didn’t you say so? *giggles*
